Soon it will be tulip season here in the Netherlands. Spring is welcomed with our fresh addition of beautiful flower vases.

Many more pieces were recently added to our collection, including this important Cubist chair with detailed wood carving by Mieczysław Kotarbiński, designed for the Polish Pavilion of the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris.

Slightly earlier, in the 1930s, the Art Deco movement in the Netherlands was expressed in a slightly more subdued manner, but surely just as delightful. In fact, this Dutch Art Deco Dining Chair pairs perfectly with this 1930s side table by interior architect J.A. Muntendam.
