As KADER design is specialised in vintage furniture, we tend to appreciate patina, traces of wear and age. We prefer to preserve an item’s authentic condition with original paint, lacquer and finish, and only in case of a defect do we proceed to professional restoration.
This means all our items function smoothly, lamps are rewired and tested unless otherwise stated, are cleaned and checked, but most likely have an appearance true to their age, sometimes including scratches, craquelé, and/or minor discolouration. Therefore, items are sold as seen, described or commissioned. Although every effort is made to display and describe all possible traces of wear, customers are advised to request a detailed condition report ahead of purchase.
Please note, KADER design cannot guarantee the future lifespan of previously used goods. In some cases, items are considered works of art or historical design artefacts rather than primary functional utilities, in which case we have consiously restrained from measures for casual or practical use.
For the Netherlands, standard shipping costs are applicable. In some cases personal delivery is advised and quoted adequately. For the rest of Europe and the world, we kindly request your full address after reservation for a quote from a trusted third party transport company.
KADER design highly values recycling, so when possible we will reuse our packing material, including bubble wrap, foam, cardboard, and custom made crates when necessary. Please note KADER design is not liable for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties.
Returns are accepted within 7 days for a full refund if returned in sold and saleable condition, excluding associated delivery costs. If unforeseen defects would occur within a reasonable amount of time after purchase, we feel committed to resolving the problem in mutual consult. No refunds or exchanges accepted on commissions. Items on loan must be returned in lent condition within the specified time frame for a full refund of the deposit.
